Indulge the senses as Southampton opens innovative new bar - Fruit PUTTING your feet up with a glass of Champagne, the finest Austrian chocolate cake and a bunch of friends in sumptuous surroundings is on the agenda in the south as Fruit sets new standards in entertainment. All the best elements of a girls’ night in have been incorporated into Southampton’s newest bar and Fruit is already wowing its customers with a heady cocktail of style, sophistication, luxury and comfort. Situated in the High Street, Southampton, Fruit is run by Carol Laird who says Southampton has been waiting a long time for a new style of entertainment. "Fruit is a sophisticated venue for sophisticated women and men," said Carol. "Our research highlighted a big gap in the market for an up-market venue which indulges the senses." Carol and her team have devised a winning formula at Fruit with Champagne available at £4 a glass and the chef has worked his way through almost 50 recipes to come up with the finest chocolate cake to headline the mouth-watering menu. "Fruit is a place for businesswomen to meet at lunchtime, for friends to catch up after work, it’s ideal for men to impress on a first date and it’s a must for the modern fashionista," said Carol. Designed with opulence in mind the design of Fruit is a stunning combination of rich fabrics and comfortable seating together with a relaxed atmosphere to kick off your shoes and put your feet up on the huge sofas. The light and airy surroundings provide plenty of space for those in the middle of a mammoth shopping trip and at night Fruit is set to become a mecca for those in search of a classy evening out.
